Reggae Artist Shadoe Claims no.10 on the iTunes Reggae Sales Chart

You just recently charted at #10 on the Reggae iTunes songs Chart with “Dutty Wine” (feat. Shadoe) How does that feel?

It is a huge rush hitting the charts and it’s a great way to engage with our fans who are the most important thing to us.

Tell us about your background getting to where you are today?

I started producing music when I was 12 with a used laptop my grandfather bought me from a pawn shop in Baltimore and from then on here, we are now I’m working with household name artists and professional musicians.

What do you want people to take away after listening to your music?

 If I could change one person’s mood or make one person feel good from one of my music, my goal is accomplished.

Any new music coming out soon?

 My debut reggae album “lost and found” is being released this month in March and there a few follow up singles ready as well.

What is your greatest achievement as a musician? 

My greatest accomplishment as a musician is hearing my daughter sing some of my songs, hearing other people play my music and sing my songs is my greatest accomplishment.

What are 3 words that describe your music? 

Smooth, gritty, and bouncy.

Which qualities do you think make a great musician?

One of my biggest advantages as a musician is being able to engineer, mix, master, and record my own music, produce my own beats, write my own songs, mentor and promote other artists.
