Lawrence “Wise” McGriff came to Memphis for a Fathers Day event and approved/co-signed an A&R Lane for UREG Def Jam Memphis. Def Jam Memphis is now reconstructed and ran by the Brand Ambassador Rich Bando. Lil Vee, also known by his stage name Mr. Big Ole, is not only an Artist for Phil, but has now moved up in position to the Head of A&R and Marketing Specialist. Lil Vee brings to the table Major Distribution through Sony’s Sub-label, The Orchard. “Sometime you have to play a different position than what you’re great at playing in order for a successful outcome in your business, you have to be the machine, and that we are” quoted Lil Vee during talks with CEO, Phil Dee of UREG Def Jam Memphis.
