El Demonio Eyes Josie Awards Nomination After Dominating iTunes Charts
El Demonio, also known as Reuben Roman, continues to make waves in the music industry. His latest album, Born A Suspect, charted in the Top 20 on iTunes in the U.S., marking another milestone in his career. Released under Creativ Records/Push Global Entertainment and distributed by The Orchard/Sony Music, the album showcases his evolution and signature Urban Outlaw Country sound.
From the Streets to Stardom
El Demonio’s journey began in the gang-infested streets of Southern California. Now based in Colorado, he blends his real-life experiences with music, creating a sound influenced by both country and hip-hop. A former member of an outlaw motorcycle club, he has collaborated with major artists, including Snoop Dogg, Akon, T-Pain, T.I., Lil Wayne, and Jack Harlow.
A New Chapter with Born A Suspect
More than just an album, Born A Suspect serves as the soundtrack for an upcoming film in which El Demonio stars. The project debuted at #16 in the U.S., following the success of his previous #1 iTunes EP, Diamond On My Heart. The album was crafted with industry heavyweights like guitarist Kyle Dalton, producer Freek Von Workum, and marketing strategist Ryan Anderson.
After dominating the iTunes charts for nearly a year, El Demonio and his team now set their sights on a nomination for the prestigious Josie Music Awards. "It would be a great honor to hear my name among the nominees at the legendary Grand Ole Opry," he shared.
Legacy of Innovation & Expanding Horizons
El Demonio’s previous release, Born Again, was hailed as an “urban masterpiece,” while Diamond On My Heart secured a #1 spot in its genre and cracked the iTunes all-sales Top 100. Often compared to Jelly Roll, Kid Rock, and Everlast, he continues to push boundaries in music.
Beyond music, El Demonio is making his mark in film and comics. He has secured a lead role in Born A Suspect and has even been featured in the comic book series El Demonio Penance.
A Message of Resilience
Describing Born A Suspect as his most personal work yet, El Demonio says, “This record is my story. I’ve lived these words. I hope my journey inspires, encourages, and heals.”
With a seven-figure deal reportedly on the table, a growing fan base, and a potential Josie Awards nomination, El Demonio’s rise shows no signs of slowing down.
