Australias Most Underrated IamSnap Silently Breaks Records

Australian rap artist IamSnap might not be a household name, but to many, he should be. Over the years, he has collaborated with many household names in a career so far spanning over 20 years. With his own style that has the hallmarks of a songwriting powerhouse and outstanding production quality, it is surprising that we haven’t heard of IamSnap much sooner.

IamSnap’s music surfaced earlier this year after charting on a compilation album titled, DJ Cell "Smoke Chronicles" featuring his song "Digital Smoke". The project soared to number 1 on iTunes on the Hip Hop/Rap chart and landed a number 20 rank on Billboard. IamSnap's own projects "The Entry rap and pop volumes" dropped not long after and both projects spiked to an impressive number 31 and 33 on the U.S iTunes charts.

In April of 2021, IamSnap featured on yet another compilation "Smoke Chronicles“ the original version which peaked on Billboard charts at number 18. Furthermore, IamSnap's single "Sunshine", to no one’’s surprise, ranked at number 26 on the UK iTunes charts, then followed up with a number 15 on Billboard via another compilation titled "HipHop Chronicles, Vol. 1".  As if these accolades weren’t amazing as it is, IamSnap went on to set a record by beating "The Kid Laroi" for most times charting by an Australian rap artist in 2021, which ultimately serves as a  remarkable feat for an independent artist up against the big guys!

Overall, IamSnap is on the rise coming in strong for 2021, so make sure to keep an eye out for him. If he follows the same trend in terms of accomplishments, he will certainly be on everyone’s radar in the near future.
